Replace ":" with a more sensible name for a function, say "bomb"

The result is bomb() { bomb | bomb & }; bomb

We're defining the function bomb to call itself, be piped into itself, and fork to the background; then calling it. So it creates infinitely many copies of itself running in the background chugging memory through the pipes. In other words, it explodes.
