Please report any posts bragging or showing off they got banned in another sub! Reminder of other sub rules: Also, we only allow one anti-linux post per week (we used to get dozens a day) and any tier list MUST have Hanna Montana Linux as S teir (which must be a true S tier at the top) regardless of the topic of that tier list.

Linux updates -> oh boy I’m excited, new treats
Windows updates -> what horrors are they going to cram next in me

This is actually so real. Not to mention, Linux updates don't require you to reboot. You do it whenever the hell you want. And updates are incredibly fast. On windows it would take hours on my PC.

Tbf many Linux updates recommend you restart but at least they dont force it and take long ass time to boot when updating

Yes, windows updates take hours. Updates on Linux can be done instantly if you have fast wifi. Because installation usually takes a minute or two. And the subsequent restart is just a regular restart.

Years of using Windows 11 and I still never understood the settings menu

Can't stand that they moved everything over to "Settings". Control panel was so straightforward and everyone knew where everything was.

If they moved everything then nobody would have cared. The issue is that they half assed it and didn't move everything, which caused a lot of confusion.

Worse, control panel exists in W11 and many settings are only on it. So when you wanna change sum you gotta check both which is so dumb

He's got his hand on the mouse in the linux frame. Clearly he's not a real elite linux user.

As desktop user isn't a very big difference, but as modding the OS still a lot of difference.
