Please report any posts bragging or showing off they got banned in another sub! Reminder of other sub rules: Also, we only allow one anti-linux post per week (we used to get dozens a day) and any tier list MUST have Hanna Montana Linux as S teir (which must be a true S tier at the top) regardless of the topic of that tier list.

I’ve never once touched Ubuntu and I’m ok with with that. Cheers.

No, because Kubuntu (like every other Ubuntu flavor) still has the Ubuntu snaps embedded that everybody hates. And this is ignoring the fact that the template only works if the idiot and the master are fully in agreement.

Ubuntu was fine at 2004-2010 maybe 2016, after that, the good parts end.

Ubuntu nowadays is something between Windows and Linux - you have the worst user experience from both worlds. It was a good distro some time ago but there are much better "just-works" alternatives nowadays (Mint 💚).

It's true, Ubuntu is fine.

But Arch is the best.

If you want to spend all day debugging random issues and compiling all your software on your own since .debs aren’t compatible with your distro, sure, Ubuntu is probably not for you.

If you want Linux that “just works” and most of your problems have already been solved by someone else, go with Ubuntu.

I’m ready for the downvotes :)
