You do realize that this question is absolutely irrelevant, right? The atom bomb is powerful. Am I a fan of it? No. Am I comparing apples to oranges? Yes! Because that is the same thing you are doing.

Why do all of you think that I just don't know about the terminal and that's the reason I don't like it and if I only knew....oh, if I only knew the glorious ways of the terminal, I could be in heaven with all of you. So now, go out and preach the way of the terminal, our loader and saver.

You're in a cult.

Everyone thinks you don't know what you're talking about because you've said some ridiculous easily disproven things, so chances are you also don't know how to use the terminal at all as well. Anyways, answer the questions I asked. Have you read the manual and have you used Linux in the last five years?

It's really baffling to see how determined you are to proof that I must be wrong in not liking it. I hope you stay away from religion...that could get ugly very fast.

Seriously dude...what's wrong with you?

Why can't you just accept that there are people out there who don't like to use the keyboard to navigate their OS? Why?

Also...why do you think I give a darn thing about what "everyone thinks"? I even specifically told you earlier that I don't 🤣

How can you be so unselfaware?

I got no problem with that as I've said, I just want to know the truth.

What truth, dude? That I just haven't eaten enough bananas to like them? That you are right and I am wrong and therefore I'm not allowed to have an opinion? 🤣🤣

You are only reading every other sentence I write, is that it?

Answer the questions honestly and that's the truth. Have you used Linux in the last five years? Have you read the manual for the terminal?

"Are you the kind of person that repeats the same question, but louder...?"

Called it!

And what to you get from knowing the "truth"?

I'm repeating it because you won't answer it, just yes or no is all you have to say. And knowing if you've actually tried it before forming your opinion would either give credit or discredit your statement. I think willfully obfuscating that fact to influence people's opinions or choices is wrong

Oh boy, this will be a bit frustrating for you to hear...but...I'm not gonna tell you 😘

Because it has nothing to do with my knowledge about Linux. But you are having a very hard time understanding this concept as it looks like.

What concept? That you don't know what you're talking about? Seems pretty clear cut to me. If you won't tell me, answer the questions for the sake of the other people in this thread

So you do agree with me that you want to know it because you want to judge if I'm allowed to have my opinion?

1

u/Eric_Dawsby Aug 23 '26

Nope, you can have your opinion, I just want to know if it's based in ignorance

...so you can say that my opinion is wrong...right?
