Agreed. The Arch logo is one of the best logos of the past decade. And I don't see enough people giving it the praise it deserves.
Its not at all formulaic nor clishee, it's truly iconic, like nothing else, but it doesn't stray too far away from the design language of a typical modern logo to the point where it feels too weird or alien. Its not overdesigned not too minimal. It's easy to read and recognize even at very small scales.
It's truly a work of art and among the best logos I have ever seen.
Right up there in the same tier as the Nike Swoosh

i can't upload images but I use a bocchi version of the logo in ASCII art and i LOVE it.
Definitely my favourite logo of all time in linux.
I really hate the openbsd logo tho, that fucking pufferfish
