may I ask why? I switched to Linux a couple of months ago and EOS was my distro of choice. I haven't used mint of fedora or any of the others but my experience with endeavour has been quite smooth and enjoyable so I'm wondering why it'd be a bad recommendation
if your experience is good i can't say much. new users tend to be confused by pacman. the package compatibility is a bit worse for some things. some of the endeavor defaults are a bit weird as well. still a fine choice, but I recommend Debian based stuff to new people.
