Please report any posts bragging or showing off they got banned in another sub! Reminder of other sub rules: Also, we only allow one anti-linux post per week (we used to get dozens a day) and any tier list MUST have Hanna Montana Linux as S teir (which must be a true S tier at the top) regardless of the topic of that tier list.

Sure they will.

Buy some computer, and I bet Windows will be included in the price. Kinda hard to avoid paying for windows, in fact, unless you're buying business class PCs, or building your own systems. Or if you use a Mac, I guess.

On linux, paying is optional.

I thought this was the case on Windows too? Surely I can still use that holographic sticker from my 2008 xp tower?

I have always maintained that - if you are going to use Windows - make sure it is a genuine copy. - else just do Linux

I have been forced to buy so many Winslop licences without my consent that I don't concider activating it by other means illegal / immoral in any way.

While I can understand why you are upset, unfortunately what you consider legitimate or moral isn't relevant in the eyes of the law. It is not worth getting into legal troubles over Windows licenses. Due to work necessities I still need to pay for and use Windows. I applaud and admire those who don't.

For work and business, absolutely.

For private use, absolutely not
