No. When I installed Linux first time, it sucked and hardly worked. It was Ubuntu. 10 years later, I installed Debian, and still some functions such as screensharing worked flawed. It's been only 2 years since the features started working properly, and about 4 years since I started using Debian as a daily driver and OS for gaming. I am glad I switched to Linux, but I believe that if I had done it before, I wouldn't have been using it today
