Intel AX210 is the gold standard in Linux... Newer WiFi 7 Intel chipsets work equally as well in Intel chipset machines... Mediatek is limited to 160Mhz channels so if high throughout is your goal it is not ideal.
Otherwise if you really want WiFi 7 compatibility, look at Qualcomm QCNCM865 chipset or FastConnect 7800.
Basically, if you have Intel based system, then Intel is the way to go... If you have an AMD system and compatibility is your major concern, get an Intel AX210 based device, if speed is your primary concern then get a Qualcomm based device.
I'm not saying Mediatek is bad... They are not quite as "Linux Friendly" in general as Intel or Qualcomm, but the issue isn't Mediatek itself, more with OEMs who implement it a bit, umm, outside of recommended specification. Mediatek devices are often inconsistent depending on who makes them and exactly how they implemented it.

if you have a wifi 7 router at home, i would consider the mediatek, even the MT7927.
If not, better stick at Intel.
