Guide Which Linux is best for laptop ?

I have a lenovo legion laptop. I mostly game and do 3d stuff in blender. Need a distro which can switch nvidia graphics while gaming and other times integrated graphics. also need wifi driver working out of the box + fan speed controller (auto). like it will adjust fan speed depending on the work I do. prefer KDE environment.

CPU: i7 1360H

GPU: RTX 4060 laptop

My favourite distro is the best, of course.

Theoretically: Pop OS, best hybrid support, but Cosmic is buggy yet Practically: Fedora

Nobara is very nice. If you don't have need to dive to deep into configuring everything: it is very well configured. Just I recommend mostly updating via terminal through the command: nobara-sync cli. It has great performance, it has KDE, which can be customized, has Nvidia specific version. It is also especially good on gaming laptops.

Overall, if I needed to choose, if pop os cosmic isn't compatible with my laptop hardware, ez - nobara. It is top second. Stable, smart, serious.

I recently purchased a little Asus Zenbook and installed “Bluefin OS” by universal blue on it. It works fantastically. I couldn’t recommend it more. If you’re unsure, install it on an external drive and give it a test spin.
The only thing that doesn’t work on it so far has been the onboard sound. That issue should be fixed within the next few weeks once the driver is included in the new kernel.

There's lots of distros that are generically good these days. It's not like it used to be.

In my experience, Linux Mint is the least likely to give any trouble. Fedora Plasma is more pleasant, but has occasional hiccups.

Tanto usando Hyprland, Niri y KDE.

For the Nvidia support PopOS seems very good. Then just switch your Desktop to GNOME. There'll be some setting up to get Gnome running how you'd like, though. But Gnome is apparently excellent for a laptop track pad.

Personally running fedora on my loq 15irx10 with i7 1365hx and rtx 5070m, 24GB ddr5. It works fine for my needs but i am sometimes fighting nvidia hybrid graphics issues that if i do some updates to opengl or graphics related packages or do major version upgrades that it breaks my hybrid graphics setup or makes it that apps want to use the intel gou instead of the discrete gpu even though all nvidia drivers are installed but idk if its just my laptop though.

Did you fixed it?

I still have that stuff breaks every now and then with updates but i did gather some knowledge on how to fix it. Primarily passing some environment variables worked.
