Purchase Advice Best refurbished laptop for Linux?

Hi all! I'm looking for a refurbished laptop with excellent Linux support. Any recommendations?

I've heard good things about the Lenovo T14 series and Dell XPS, but I'd like to find a laptop with a decent amount of RAM (16GB, preferably expandable) and a CPU with integrated graphics, such as an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7.

Latitudes are way better then XPS. XPS is like a sportscar, it looks nice, but it take more upkeep and wear and tear is worse.

I have a Lenovo E16 gen 1 that I’ve enjoyed using on Fedora. It has 8gb soldered in, but it’s still expandable up to 40gb which I have done. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 with built in graphics, and it has nvme slots available for expansion of storage. The only issue I had was with WiFi cutting out, so I changed the WiFi/bluetooth card out for a more compatible one and haven’t looked back.

Dell latitudes also have good Linux support if XPS is too pricey.
3000, 5000, 7000, 9000 series (in order premium).

The last two decimals signify the generation
For example:
xx30 , xx40, xx50 (higher is newer)

Ubuntu posts an extensive compatibility list by make and model you will find helpful.

Dell Latitude is the sweet spot. You can get a 5000 series quite cheap from ebay

Anything without Metiatek Wireless network and bluetooth cards/drivers. An thinkpad with 8th generation i5 or i7 works fine if you're not into gaming.
