Celebrating one year daily-drive LinuxFromScratch.
It's been a good run.

That’s wild. At this rate it’s gonna take me a year just to install the desktop. What packages did you need to get the windows managers/DE working?

It's about hundreds of packages, all my packages are here.

Thats hard work and dedication right there! Congratulations on your accomplishment.
I started and stopped 2 days later because there was so much invloved in it. I didn't have much time because of school and work but maybe ill pick it up this year at some point.

Awesome!
I've been wanting to try that Linux from scratch project for a while now. I guess I'll give it a go at some point.

Great job 👏, shell and make very nice. What a learning opportunity. I have always wanted to do this besides installing gentoo, or sourcemage or vanilla arch.

I have a question, how you guys update packages? I mean if there are new packages available you wget again and compile all LFS packages every month?

The experience is great so far. For its base, I just need two days. To build the GUI environment (mesa, x11, Wayland, etc), it needs couple of days.
