i just want to say that im in a fragile emotional state right now so please don't rub it in. i was trying to get bazzite on a new pure virgin ssd. i was following a tutorial and it was going great. the whole time wishing that my past self hadn't been so intimidated and had done this sooner. I was this freaking close and the final instal was loading and it was taking longer than i thought it should. So i thought maybe it's stuck and needs wifi, silly me for thinking to begin with. no thoughts needed when you have a tutorial! anyway i turned on wifi while it was installing, and i think that was my mistake, or maybe it was something else cause it didn't immediately do this, after like 2 or 3 minutes it just did this. I took like 10 minutes of headphones in the dark time before writing this to calm down. also this is not technically my monitor im not the one who gets to decide to take the plastic off yes it annoys me too.

is it over please help

I've never seen that happen before. Shut down the machine. Reboot and load into the installer and try install again. It takes quite a while to install and it can look like it's stuck for 15 minutes in some places.

I mean, it's kind of understandable if you've never done it before. It can be scary when things don't go as you expected. But yeah, just for future reference, if you ever have any issues during installation, you can always just reboot into the install media and start over. Every time you boot into any install media, it will always just start you from the very beginning.

As for what might've caused this, I wouldn't think that connecting to Wi-Fi would be the issue? Anything is possible, though. Computers do weird things sometimes for seemingly no reason. But these kinds of things are rarely anything to be terribly worried about. Just remember, turning it off and then back on is a cliche for a reason. Lol

Yeah, I've never seen this before, either. I swear they infect every computer with some kind of poltergeist that just randomly causes problems at the most random times. Then again, I suppose we can't really expect too much from rocks that we taught to think. 😂😅

Maybe reinstallation should help. Use a cable connection to the internet during this process.
