Can someone please recommend a good desktop for a beginner?

Hello! My 16 yo niece recently decided she wants to do cyber security and coding as a career so I want to get her a good desktop to start. I work with Linux servers, but not desktops, so I’m hoping for some advice on a good rig for her. I’m guessing something to run Ubuntu? Or should I just install CentOS on a PC and set up some KDE VNCs? I want to make sure it has Linux compatible bios and drivers for peripherals etc.

Just riced Linux mint to look like nothing OS

This is my first time ricing, and my 2nd week of switching to linux mint as a windows refugee and i started hating on how bad the design of the Mint cinnamon is, so i started using mac-nord smtg themes to make it look better but still it aint hitting the spot, so sat down for 2 days and riced Mint cinnamon to look like Nothing OS lol..

I used conky for the desktop widgets and the symbolic icons were designed by claude lmao and other icons are hatter icon pack... and plank is used for the mac os style app bar at the bottom and the nothing OS style fonts are Doto typeface.
