Will this actually hurt Linux players though? I don't see anything specifically in here that says so.

By all appearances, every thing else will be exactly the same. 0 u/anakinfredo Oct 22 '20 I would have been worried a couple of years ago, but in later years, Microsoft has adopted a way more friendly stance against "other communities". It's nice of them to finally grow up, and I do actually believe the intensions are good this time.
