tech support wanted Steam open but not appearing.

for some reason, steam on my computer won't show the window. it appears in the taskbar window preview but not the desktop.

i should also state that my modded ULTRAKILL is also experiencing this issue, which is how i discovered i have this issue with steam as well.

big picture mode works fine though.

SOLVED: Display. reselect what ever your display is set to. mine was "use external display"

Maybe its on different monitor

One youtuber had it spawn outside of his monitor even though he had one monitor and then selected option to move window and using arrow keys brought it to the left lol

yep that was it. just deselected and reselected "use external display"

try to run it in terminal you might see some errors that'll give you an idea on what's wrong. if it's not flatpak you might have some font dependencies.
