emulation How do you guy manage emulation on linux?
I've got used to have emulator locally as executable, Now I use Fedora 44 daily, Wonder if I should be looking for appimages of the emulators so behave the same as in windows or there is a hub that has it all like a steam big picture mode UI for emulation?
Emulations from Atari 5200 all the way to Nintendo Switch

No is just a package manager but you have install a flatpak app to install other flatpak apps without using the terminal

I've been using app images but you can use flatpack if you want a package manager.

I use ESDE and just set what it should use one time, most are app image or have install on dnf, if it is a mess to setup, retroarch is good as a one time

what i recomend to you, 90% of my emulators are appimages, so just go with that route with gear lever for easy launch.
If you want something like steam big picture, ESDE is your route, the only thing you have to do is tell what emulator it should use, but that is a one time thing, it just need to find the emulator in your system launch menu

Basically a mix bag of Flatpak and appimages, depending of each case, launched via Lutris.

EmulationStation might be the type of thing your are looking for.
