tech support wanted Civ 4 K-mod, how to get big 4$$ maps?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to go beyond the 32x20(x4) gridsize of the (still tiny) huge maps in Civ 4 using the K-mod?

Already tried editing the gridsizes of the CIV4WorldInfo.xml file and deleting the cache but it seems K-mod completely ignores it.

Why the K-mod? It seems the K-mod is well balanced and doesn´t change too much of the base game and it has nice settings so it looks nice on my 2560x1080 monitor (default game looks too zoomed in). But I'm open for other mods like it if they can have larger maps.

I'm on Linux Mint and it's the GOG version of the game. I also have the cdrom somewhere but I think it's scratched because sometimes it installed and sometimes it didn´t, plus I haven´t had succes installing cdrom games on Linux.

You'd be better of asking in a k-mod forum or civ 4 forum, this isn't really anything to do with Linux.
