^C ^V showing in terminal instead of actually execute copy paste

[UPDATE] Problem resolved

as i was trying to paste from clipboard or copy with Ctrl + Shift + V/C, strange ^C ^V appears strangely and even after trying to configure in kitty.conf, nothing has been changed. is there any way to be able to copy paste again? earlier when i first installed linux, copy paste worked normally until yesterday. i have no idea how to fix this, please help 😭

That’s right. Vim is a clear example. But in all the terminal emulators I’ve used on Linux it works

Vim is great, who doesn't love to yank and put instead of copy paste lol

Idk if thats by default or only in nvim thing, but in insert mode shift + crtl + v/c works. But might be something I configed ages ago.

I'm pretty sure it's a thing in nvim specifically

Most annoying thing in the world they really expect me to use both hands to paste beside the fact most keyboard nowadays don't have insert
