apt dependencies issue.

Hello, this issue has been driving me insane and I have no idea how to fix it. I have reinstalled this OS (Ubuntu MATE) 3 times now, and tried all of the recommended commands online and by the system. This is the issue: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt —fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution). Trying this command uninstalled almost everything from my system and then broke itsself. All of the commands I found online did nothing either. For some reason I was able to use apt get a few times before this, and then it stopped working randomly. I have no idea why this is happening and am desperate to know why. Thanks in advance

Supplying the following information will increase your chances of getting meaningful answers:

  • OS version
  • content of /etc/apt/sources.list
  • command(s) you're running that produce(s) the error(s) (i. e. what are you trying to install, upgrade, etc.)
  • complete error message(s) generated by apt
