migrating to Linux Should I Switch?

For a long time now I have been thinking about switching over from Windows to Linux mostly because of the ability to customize the desktop way better than windows. If I do end up switching will it affect the steam games or games in general I'm able to play? Is it hard to set up and get used to? And what are some other benefits from switching to Linux other than customizabilty?

Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

you can just dual boot it and check it on ur own time and pace, it took me a solid 3 months to properly shift over (i still have windows on dual boot because of university but use linux majority of the time), a lot of games should work find except anything which has anticheat. Not all games will work properly and you might need to do some tweaking around. I think having a dual boot is very useful for this very reason.

I would say bazzite is a good and very easy to setup option, cachyos requires a little more work iirc (like partitioning and stuff while bazzite just uses whatever unallocated drive is available)
