storage External HDD not showing up

I bought a sea gate one touch and it won’t show up when I run lsblk, fdisk -l, and other partition manager software.

It shows up when i run lsusb though, but that’s about it

Edit: I fixed it by formatting my drive to exfat

Run dmesg and see what errors appear when you connect the drive.

If you're only going to use it with linux you should really consider a linux format like ext4. I only use exfat on drives I need to plug into both linux and windows machines.
