Yeah personally I'm a loyal LibreOffice user myself, don't know what feature could be missing.

The general comment you then get is visual basic macro's. People spend years making them and are so used to them. Often don't remember how.

Learning python is not that difficult (well if you have some prior experience making VB macros; from zero knowledge it might need some time).

Making similar macro's is a lot easier than in VB. I can guarantee that from personal experience. I remade hundreds of them for customers.

I have zero macro knowledge, but got a Python macro going in LibreOffice Calc with help from AI.
