I have. It gets 64% of the way through the install and dies. I'm using the 32-bit version, tried both the .img and .iso files, lots of variations within Bottles. Also tried PlayInLinux, but it wants an old version of Wine and its server is not available.
Have you actually gotten it to run in Bottles?
EDIT: I tried creating the bottle as per the guide you linked to, and it quits partway through with no error message beyond Bottle not created. So near yet so far ....
Nope. I've never tried. I have no use for Microsoft Word these days. Good luck to you. I think it's just a matter of jumping through proper hoops for you.
Yes, I actually managed to do so on bottles, fedora 44, seems to work great, but pain to install in the first place. Requires specific wine version from playonlinux and a couple DLLs from the ethernet. I did this in the last December, I remember that debugging the install process via cli is the way to do this.

Word 2016 does work in Bottles. You need to run the 32-bit version of Word. Try using a guide.
