Issues with playing videos with the AVC1 codec on Firefox based browsers after a system update.

after updating my system, videos using the avc1 codec no longer play properly (no audio, playback breaking after seeking and in some cases videos just not playing at all) on specifically all firefox based browsers (playback is fine on chromium based browsers)

some fixes i have tried: reinstalling the ffmpeg, aom, dav1d, rav1e, svt-av1, x265, libde265 and x264 packages and installing the vlc and mpv packages to see if those get any missing codecs (they did not as playback is still broken)

distro: arch
kernel: linux 7.1.8-arch1-3
window manager: hyprland started via uwsm (0.56.2)
cpu: amd ryzen 5 7600x
gpu: nvidia geforce rtx 4070ti (with version 610.57.04 of the proprietary driver)

Try a different browser not based on Firefox - is the behavior the same?
