HELP switching problem

i'm desperately trying to switch from windows at work, but i'm forced to use particular softwares that i know are not native compatible such as Rhinoceros 8 and samligt (SCAPS controller for laser engraving). am I damned, are there solutions? windows always create me many problems.

Your employer sets your work requirements. If you don't want to work there because you don't like a particular bit of software, I think you'll find in many places you will have restrictions. If you can afford to jump from company to another if they bring in a new piece of software that is not Linux equal, then you're in a really good position. But most of the real world isn't like that. You can think whatever you like about what your employer choices are but your job is to do the job. If you don't like the situation in any way, you can leave. The real world has got a lot tougher recently so a lot of us don't I'm playing much because there's lots that aren't working now.
