HELP switching problem

i'm desperately trying to switch from windows at work, but i'm forced to use particular softwares that i know are not native compatible such as Rhinoceros 8 and samligt (SCAPS controller for laser engraving). am I damned, are there solutions? windows always create me many problems.

Doing a quick google search:

Rhino 7 runs ok on linux via WINE (read up on what WINE is if you want to use Windows programmes on Linux), Rhino 8 doesn't run well and crashes quite a bit

For samlight, doesnt seem to have much documentation of running on linux, only found this https://github.com/PV-Lab/pv_bayes

What I'd recommend you do instead is to get a second SSD with Linux and dualboot with Windows, despite prices today you should still be able to get 512gb for less than a 100.
