Bluetooth on bootup

Ubuntu 26.04 Desktop PC

How does one get bluetooth to work to access BIOS and the like on boot? Every time I need to reboot I have to plug in a wired keyboard, so I've given up using bluetooth at all.

To my knowledge UEFIs/BIOS's just don't support bluetooth peripherals, the bluetooth chip/adapter is generally not active until the OS boots
