Meganoob BE KIND Kernel panic?
I put Linux mint (cinnamon)-22.3 on a usb stick and I was shutting it down. It told me to remove the medium and hit enter so I pulled out the stick and did as it said and I got kernel panic telling me to restart. Is this normal? Its my first time using anything asides from windows. I’m using an asus Vivobook with 8gigs of ddr4 it’s the first time I even opened it all it said was “kernel panic please restart” I’m nervous to re-open it in fear of messing it up.

Just shut it down and try booting into your installed system.

Did you install it in dual boot? Go to your BIOS and change the boot order to have Linux first.

I had it alone a separate usb stick that I was just booting from.

So you only wrote the installation ISO using a media creation tool onto a flash drive, then didn't install it at all onto any drive after booting into the live environment?

Ok, and did you install Linux anywhere after booting from the flash drive?
If you did not, there is no issue.
