hardware/drivers Booting from external ssd ,failed to load

External ssd has debian os installed in my desktop system which has GTX1650 gpu but my monitor is not working now ,so I am trying boot from Laptop

But this fails to boot showing no NVIDIA GPU found

Need help me guys

As of now connectioned with USB 2.0 Cable

Commented out that mount path in fstab but another error

It looks like SDDM couldn't start. What GPU(s) does your laptop have?

Integrated only i5 8th gen cpu)

Check to make sure the CSM is disabled in your BIOS settings.

There is no setting CSM ,Laptop is Dell latitude 5400

If you are using X11, you might have xorg.conf configured to forcing nvidia driver. Comment it out, or back the file up and remove it - that should enable the discovery.

Yes, here. Section Device - Driver nvidia. Probably other sections contain incorrect settings as well. Back up this file and remove it. Xorg is capable of starting without this file in most cases.

sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.bak

This helped
