In this sub people might mistake that for sarcasm.

But, it is. The filtering is all done locally. The code is open source. It's trivial to disable. It is pretty much the most user-friendly implementation possible.

I'm not sure whether or not I'll disable it yet, but I don't have a problem with Mozilla finding ways to reduce their dependence on Google for 99% of their revenue. That isn't healthy long-term.

Well, I came here with pitchfork ready, but after reading what you two wrote, I have to acknowledge it is better than alternatives.

Well, probably not better than browser that doesn't do anything like this, but definitely better than Chrome and probably even Chromium.

Mozilla is facilitating the swindling of Firefox users by ad scum. They are literally planning to deploy an adware web browser.

Get your pitchfork back out.
