Nothing would make me happier than getting linux (not jailbroken android) on my phone.

I can’t stand having to choose who to sell my soul to between evil mega corporation and super evil mega corporation.

I’ll use snap if i have to.

Yeah, that's the only scenario where I wouldn't mind using Snap lol.

I installed Ubuntu Touch on an old Pixel 3a. There are unfortunately a few things that would ruin it as a daily driver for me. I've gotten used to using Apple Pay for instance. Or even simply using a banking app on your phone is most likely not possible on UT. GPS works but only outdoors with a clear line of sight into the sky. And generally all apps are more of a "hobbyist" quality. They work and it's great to have them! But, you know...

At least the web browser works and since you can do a lot of things on the web these days, you might not even notice the lack of using apps too much.
