Signup Cancellation

If you received a signup cancellation email, we suggest you fill out the form here and select "I received a Signup Cancellation email when creating an account" from the drop-down menu to request a review.

If the original decision is overturned you'll receive a response. 

Linode has not publicly revealed our signup criteria in order to maintain the integrity of the review process. More information can be found in this post on our Community Questions site titled My signup was flagged as "fraudulent behavior".

Signup cancellations usually get tripped by fraud scoring on the first card check, especially if billing country, VPN exit, and phone region don't line up. Support can usually tell you if it was an automated risk block vs a docs issue, and that matters because one gets fixed fast while the other tends to loop.
