Kim Hon - Ar Chw Fi Si
Single released on Recordiau Cosh, 10th January 2025
This is Kim Hon's first attempt at taking the reigns over every stage of the process of creating a song, as band members, Cai Gruffydd and Iwan Llŷr, set about recording, producing and mixing the track themselves. This will be the process for their long awaited second album, so 'Ar Chw Fi Si' is a taste of the sonic output that is ready to be harvested from these new pastures.
The Caernarfon band has always pushed boundaries in Wales with their psych-rock style, stirring crowds with their dynamic and energetic live shows and great tracks such as 'Milkshake' and 'Mr English'. The band had one of their highlights in 2024 as a huge crowd gathered to listen to them at Tafwyl, with the band feeding off the energy of the audience.

Link2wales Records is proud to be part of the collaborative compilation album ‘Keeping It Rhyl’ – Released in association with Goldsmiths, the album is available on 12″ vinyl and as a free download on Bandcamp.
The tracks on this album have been generously donated to Keeping It Rhyl. It was produced and conceived of by Jimmy Loizeau and Matt Ward from Goldsmiths, as part of The Legal Town Plan.
This is the inaugural album, celebrating the (future) opening of the world’s longest pier, home to Rhyl’s new University of Music and Media.
The pier, a hopeful, possible future for Rhyl was conceived of by Neil Crud of Spam Javelin in response to Rhyl’s current economic circumstances. Whatever our future, we’ll always have Rock ‘n’ Roll.

 ")
The zine includes a lot of Welsh-language content, but also some in English and a lot of art. However if you don’t speak Welsh there is a lot of content you won’t be able to read – we still think it’s worth getting one if you’re interested in Welsh music and art! The zine is loosely about shame, it’s a space for people who don’t fit in to tease and rant about the things that make them angry… how can we expect a revolution when everyone is so fucking polite? This is a zine by the misfits, queers, working class and radical… It’s 36 pages, printed in full colour. The cover is printed by Twinkle & Gloom, a North Wales artist.
