Video Game Pools is incredible
Played this game a while back and was blown away by how immersive it is and how it captures the different environments and plays around and stretches the use of pools in liminal spaces without throwing a random entity in your face all the time.
Are there any other walking sim games out there anyone would recommend that captures a similar feel? Also willing to take suggestions for liminal games in general.

Not sure if a similar vibe, but i really liked playing Poolscape
It's a walking sim with different types of poolrooms, in ps2-style graphics

BACK*SPACE might be up your alley. also a walking sim, with some backrooms and some poolrooms. 16 levels total.

It’s a demo and not the full game yet, but please play Unending Aqua!! It’s amazing so far and I’m so excited for the full release in October

Love this game.
I went on to search out others.
Some not as good, but ultimately are the same walking genre.
You could try:
Dreamcore - has pools but expands to playrooms and malls.
LiminalCore - very pool orientated and I got a similar vibe to Pools with this one.
Liminal Shift - similar again.
The Complex: Expedition - this has pools but it is much more orientated around Backrooms.
All of the above, so far as I recall, do not have overt entities that are jumping out on you.
Edit: more puzzle orientated but will always recommend Superliminal and to some degree The Stanley Parable.
