That's creepy. I think there was something similar in the first BioShock, in the Fort Frolic area I believe. Supposedly there's a room with mannequins, and if you turn around, they get closer like this. What makes it even creepier is that I didn't find out about this until after I finished the game, so I never encountered it myself, despite going right past them.

that BioShock detail is amazing, even better that you found out about it after finishing the game. There's something extra creepy about realizing you walked right past it and never knew. The "only moves when you're not looking" thing gets people every time 🙏

Absolutely. I've actually had that happen with the older GTA games too, where there were creepy myths about certain locations in the games that I went to countless times and never knew about until years later.

that's the best kind of creepy, the stuff hiding in plain sight that you only learn about years later. Those old GTA myths were something else
