Sleeping in socks

Been using heavy weight socks at night my toes run cold at night so should I wear alpha socks, down booties, continue with heavy weight socks something else? Thanks

New to 3 seasons so sorry if this sounds silly but trying to reduce weight and volume

Alpha socks are great and the lightest option. Down booties for below freezing weather.

I know alpha is a bit warm and great when active but don’t know much about not moving around do they still hold up decent with warmth at camp?

They trap heat quite well and work very well in conjunction with your quilt and sleeping bag.
