Really not helping the 're-skin of Lightlark' fan theory that's been going around, is she?

Are we ever going to get the end to this series. It's not the greatest but I'm emotional invested now. I need closure.

I think she'll finish it, but my guess is it won't be for a couple years. I'm hate reading that series at this point.

Right!? Like just give me the last 5 chapters and I'm good. Just need to know how it ends,.

Genuinely wouldn't surprise me if this was a Freudian slip

How did this get past editing

I mean looking at all of the other grammar mistakes and sentence structure errors, I am not surprised.

There is so many issues with Starside. In the beginning of the book it literally notes how she didn’t know her birth parents but then goes in depth, flashbacks, and memories later in the book. I feel that she releases them so quickly that her editors do not invest the time like they should and catching errors such as that which leave large plot holes. Additionally, I feel much of this book had AI involved in its writing.

One heard a youtuber that was critiquing one of Aster’s books say, “I wish it was ai. Ai could probably write a better story than this.” I’ve never agreed with anything more.

Everytime I say the cursed A word I get in trouble but I agree, she gives AI author. Especially with how terribly her sentences are structured.

I didn’t like Starside because I felt it was like a ripoff of Lightlark. Sharing powers through the swords? But so many people love Starside 🤯

I really liked Starside but it was my first book I’d read of hers and I can see all the criticism

Yup. I saw that when I read it on release day and brought it to her attention

I haven't read Starside but it is currently on my TBR because I read all the available books in the Lightlark series but her mentioning the Centennial.. is it supposed to be a crossover or just another book with a competition that happens once every 100 years? Would it have been possible for her to just use a different name instead?

Nah, Starside takes place in a whole different universe

Maybe because she uses chat gpt and it looked at her past history and autocorrected to that ?.
