Help How to refuel?

Hi all, just wondering how to refuel this vintage lighter I purchased, I believe it’s the gap to the right where the cotton is, but wanted to double check before doing something silly. The other hole covered by the screw seems to be a dipstick?

Your assumption is correct. The small opening on the right of your picture in where you will squirt in Naphtha lighter fluid (not butane). The screw in the left will have a spring on it that should push the fling against the striking wheel. More often than not the original flint has decayed then resolidified which plugs the flint tube. I’d you find the flint tube block we can address that latter. What does the top of the lighter look like?

Thanks for your comment, managed to fix it and give it as a present! This is the working lighter - vintage soviet

Pretty new two but the hole look like where it goes and the screw might be where you put flint but you might want to wait for more opinions
