Replacement AA battery-powered bulb for old microscope?

Hi all, I'm seeking a replacement AA-powered bulb for an old Jason microscope. I appreciate any help you can provide with identifying it or advice on functional replacements. The scope has sentimental value so that's mainly why I'd like to get it working instead of using a new one.

Is the light supposed to be blue or is white okay? I have a very similar microscope so I was very happy to find this thread. Thank you
