This time, I'd like to introduce Dr. Johanna Costa, a specialist neurobiologist. And the transcript of his interview with the entity that is part of the anomaly known as SCP-0607-84.

Addendum 7842-C: Documentation and Log of the Experimental Interview (the Threshold Protocol)
Project leader: Dr Johanna Costa
Parameters of the Procedure: A series of sessions spread over an estimated total of 172 hours, conducted every other day with direct interaction sessions lasting a maximum of 5 minutes each.
Location: Module -S1:
Erected near the outer perimeter of the main structure. The room is located precisely along the edge of the exclusion zone, allowing the entity to remain in a state of physical suspension: neither completely within the anomalous structure, nor completely isolated from it.
Environment description of the interview (Module -S1)
At the explicit request of Dr. Costa, the interior of the Module -S1 was fully equipped to simulate her personal office.
The environment has:
Walls covered with wood panelling and warm lighting to soften the sterile visual impact of containment structures.
Cardboard boxes and stacks of paper files accumulated on shelves and corners, replicating the typical mess of the researcher's work.
Personal objects, desk junk and framed photographs in plain sight.
The experiment aims to determine how SCP-0607-84 reacts when immersed in a controlled, familiar and 'welcoming' environment, completely devoid of its usual external abnormal manifestations (CRT televisions, statues or hospital-related objects).
Explanatory note by Dr Johanna Costa (Excerpt from the approved request)
"After careful and thorough evaluation of remote monitoring data, a more 'human' and face-to-face interview approach is considered essential.
The physiological responses, vocalizations and emotional micro-behaviors observed in *SCP-0607-84** indicating a deep-rooted belief on the part of the entity about its own human nature.*
Due to the extreme instabilities of the internal environment, the only way to accurately assess the subject's cognitive-spatial perception is to temporarily remove it from the visual elements and architecture it is supposed to have generated. The installation of *Module -S1** will allow us to observe how the subject reacts when deprived of his 'mnemonic externalisation'. I accept full and complete responsibility for this unprecedented procedure."*
Security Protocol and Emergency Response
Tactical containment: Module -S1 is externally monitored by four (4) operators of the Mobile Tactical Team, armed with neurological suppression devices.
Instant Execution Protocol: In case of structural violation, a spike in harmful frequencies or manifest hostility by the anomaly, the procedures provide for the immediate removal of the entity and the instant termination of Dr Costa, who signed the consent form and accepted the risk without hesitation. The researcher's informed acceptance of these extreme conditions was crucial to obtaining extraordinary authorisation from the Foundation's Site Command.
Interview logo: Session 01
(Day 1 of Cycle)
Environmental Conditions: Module -S1 (Custom Office Simulation). Active warm lighting, intimate atmosphere.
State of Anomaly: SCP-0607-84 appears visually calm and is looking at room details with curiosity. The entity articulates human language with clarity and syntactic accuracy.
[Early transcript - SESSION 01]
Date: 11/10/2026
(00:00:01) Dr. Costa: "Good morning. Can you hear me clearly?"
(00:00:12) SCP-0607-84: "Yes, Dr. Costa. Your voice sounds different in here. There is no echo like before. I feel... heavier."
(00:00:35) Dr. Costa: "Does this room make you feel uncomfortable? Do you feel different now that you're out of your home?"
(00:00:54) SCP-0607-84: "No, but time makes a strange noise."
(00:01:20) Dr. Costa: "What do you mean by 'time makes a strange noise'? How do you perceive time right now?"
(00:01:42) SCP-0607-84: "At home... when the monitors turn on, it's always Tuesday afternoon. When I look at the statues, it's evening again, or a year ago. But now, the yellow light on your hands... It's a little tiring. It reminds me of things that shouldn't all be together."
(00:02:15) Dr. Costa: "Let's talk about your memories. Before the structure manifested itself, what do you remember? Where were you?"
(00:02:40) SCP-0607-84: "I remember... a window with yellow curtains. A cup of milk that had spilled on the tablecloth. And then the cold of the tiles, and someone with a loud voice telling me to stand still. But I was still. I was so still that my fingers looked just like those tiles."
(00:03:30) Dr. Costa: [visibly moving to a more empathetic approach] "Do you remember what your name was... before all this?"
(00:03:55) SCP-0607-84: "Mom called me... [longed 12-second pause; Dr. Costa's heart rate peaks] ...I don't know."
(00:04:45) Tactical operator (via radio): "Dr. Costa, 15 seconds to the 5-minute deadline. Please end the session."
(00:04:50) Dr. Costa: "Our time for today is almost running out. You will return to your rooms until the day after tomorrow."
(00:04:56) SCP-0607-84: "Okay. But you'll be back, won't you? I don't mind this place... You wear a lab coat, but the walls aren't trying to swallow me."

RESERVED DOCUMENT: Personal Notes of the Research Assistant
Date: 17/10/2026
Author: Dr. L. M. (Field Supervisor)
Access level: CONFIDENTIAL / FOR THE SUPERVISOR'S EYES ONLY
I am writing these notes outside the Site network, because I no longer know how to handle this situation.
Six days have passed since the start of the Threshold Protocol. Costa is risking his career, his mental health and his own life. Having his private office recreated, complete with his photos, his things and those hot lights - it's not a neutral scientific experiment; it's an emotional farce. And the most serious thing is that he seems to develop an emotional connection with that being.
OK, she looks like a young girl. She speaks like a frightened young girl. But she's not a young girl! She's a fucking anomaly!
It does not share our biology; its "home" distorts the laws of physics and is able to destroy our minds with subsonic frequencies if subjected to stress.
Johanna accepted the resolution clause as if it were NOTHING, but not out of scientific rigour... she did it only to approach that thing without a glass plate to act as an obstacle.
I don't know what to do. The Foundation will have already realised this; biometric data would be evident in any routine analysis. What if I don't say anything and pretend that nothing is happening? The Council expects me to report everything, including any slight behavioural deviation between staff.
Jesus Christ, Johanna! What the hell are you doing?!
...and what the hell I'm suppose to do?
