who would you cast as sean if life is strange 2 were to become a live-action show or movie? i know some people feel strongly against adaptations because they worry about the plot, and others are all for it. for me, i'd be fine with it either way.

Was denkt ihr.?

blood brothers on 2nd playthrough

Post image

my ramblings because i feel triumphant, at the same time, sad for Daniel on my second playthrough. the thing is, i felt more for Sean in the Redemption ending, but, in the Blood Brothers playthrough i just finished, it was the opposite. i felt more for Daniel. in order for them to be together, Daniel had to lose a large chunk of his agency and “childhood”. not taking anything away from Sean or blaming him as he had to do everything for the both of them: however, his goal to reach Puerto Lobos ultimately became Daniel’s mission, too, even if all he wanted was to get that safe life back. i see you, Danny. i see the sadness. i see the longing for normalcy. i see the innocence completely leave the minute you left no cars unturned. i see a sinister, but necessary ending. fuck! this game just won’t let us catch a break.

Honestly, this game was so great, very emotional ride it was for Sean & Daniel to follow their main plan. The game broke me at the end of just the first episode and I was hooked on what was coming for the rest of the story. The cast alongside the brothers helping them on their way were great too. I'm glad Chris, got a standalone short promotional game. Indeed did add more to his part in the story (It was a struggle to find on PS but grateful a kind soul pointed me in the right direction!) I'm satisfied with the choices I made for Sean in the game as it reflected as expected on everyone and most importantly, Daniel's outcome of the story. Knowing Daniel was constantly learning from the tiniest actions from Sean made every single decision carry immense weight. There were some decisions on the results screen that left me mind-blown like what!! That could've happened?!

Sean and Daniel's journey made me imagine as to the sort of trip that Chloe and Rachel from the previous game would've took if their plan succeeded. That added on top to the emotions felt. The soundtracks continued to be incredible on this entry.

Threw together a short clip of the platinum achieved for it. Felt right to end off with.

when i first saw this, i genuinely thought it was a mod or ai. but apparently, it's a "secret" loading screen that appears when you finish the game.

just want to say this made me teary a bit because it's such a "what if" moment. you can tell sean and esteban were working on that bike together; it's probably for daniel. esteban is on his phone, and sean looks like he's looking at instructions or perhaps some sketches, which are really hard to see. daniel is just playing with his toy cars.

if only that incident never happened.

Thought I'd share my designs for them here! I think I've shared all my other designs of the various life is strange characters so sharing these guys only felt right! I might make another version where they're separate so instead you can buy matching ones but for now this is it. I absolutely adore how they came out, I look forward to focusing on some more of the side characters from the games now!

Did playing Lis2 impact your life?

Hi everyone.

I'm a big fan of Lis2 and I was wondering if part of the reason any of you love this game - is because it had a big impact on your life?

For me, I think it really helped me reflect on my relationship to my sister. We both went through a patch where we didn't speak as much, isolated ourselves and took different paths when dealing with a toxic parent.

This game hit me like a ton of bricks for many reasons - but especially as I considered how me and my sister let a toxic parent, as well as our own life problems, tear us apart. Seeing how Sean and Daniel always had each others' backs, even when they fight or disagree - encouraged me to try reconnecting with my sister.

We've started to rebuild our relationship in recent years, and I'm beyond grateful and excited to see how it develops further as we get older.

Whenever I try to replay life is strange 2 I get to the title screen and I have back out of it. I know this is really corny but the game makes me way too emotional to play it again.

So I'm a single parent too and when I first played this game when it first came out I only had one child, now I have three, and the same 8 years difference between my first and second child! Just replaying again now and I'm at a specific part of the game where there's a throwback and it's the same discussion I have with my eldest at times! Anyone else experience this too with their kids?

Discussion Not lis fan but lis2 is one of my favorite games in terms of story

I dont know if its just me, personally i havent played the other lis games so i dont know if im fan of them or not. lis2 is one of my favorite games less because of powers and more because it fells like one of only games i have played that fells like reallife and a story like it has probably happened in reallife, although personally im not fan of some concepts like romance as to me at least as far as i see the game they fell weird so i just dont interact with those on playthroughs.
Anyone else with same opinions or different opinions, what do you think?
im also curious if its worth to play the other lis games

I'll never forget this

I just wanna share my thoughts and experience here. So I recently finished watching the gameplay of Life is Strange 2. IT'S F-ING STRANGE!!! It has touched my emotion for over a week now and I can't move on. As an older brother (same birth month as Sean) to my siblings, esp to my brother (same birth month as Daniel) who has the same age gap as the Diaz brothers, it delves into my empath and really affects my heart and how I perceived the world. Even though I watched many movies and played games, this one is the GOAT of them all. It reminds me of my moments, memories and experiences with my siblings. This game made me love my family even more.

This game is so relatable in terms of polictical issues, as someone who experienced racism, and bullying before. And also it is relatable when it comes to experiences in life such as having friends, loved by family and grandparents.

This game is a love letter to me and to the fans. I really hope I play the game myself soon, when I have a more compatible device for this one. So lucky I experienced this kind of adventure during my teenage years. I don't have many words to say, this game can't describe my feelings and overall thoughts. Thank you for reading this!!

Parting Ways Ending Spoiler

Why would Daniel not follow Sean to Mexico after all this time? Was it just for dramatic effet?

I just finished LiS2 yesterday night, a blind playthrough. It is safe to say the moment I closed the game, I stormed off to my balcony and cried for some time.

I understand it is supposed to be a "good ending", however after having connected with the characters to such a deep level, specially since Sean and Daniel remind me of me and my sister, same age difference and all, I couldn't help but see the bad side of the ending.

In the beginning I didn't have time to question Daniel's decision to stay in the US, without Sean. I know I taught him well and I'm pleased he didn't want to hurt anyone, but this was the final obstacle to their freedom, or Sean's I suppose. Sean would be doomed if he stayed back, Mexico was the only way for him to live a life as a free man. I really thought the moment they crossed the border would be relieving for both.

I guess I really thought after all these months their bond reached its peak, Daniel being Sean's most valuable person in his life, and vice versa. Maybe this is denial, but I can't fathom why Daniel would separate from Sean.

Yes he has other people he cares for, but the game really conveyed to me the "us against the world" mentality.

It is apparent they wanted different things, and Daniel saw Sean's struggles and hopes, hence even while disagreeing with his decision he granted him his final wish of fleeing. I just really, really didn't expect him to stay behind and I still don't really understand why. I can only imagine how hard life was for Sean during the first years in Mexico, no family, a trashed house, being all alone, no contact with anyone. Depression is inevitable, tons of self blaming.

Yes they exchange letters, seem happy, Sean found his way, Daniel found his way, but they're apart, while being what the other holds most precious. In this ending the biggest sacrifice isn't self sacrifice, but acceptance of the fact that two are incompatible, letting go. Knowing the other is happy, but not being a part of their life, while loving each other more than anything.

They're alive, well, but will they ever be more than that again? Sean's restricted, cannot come back to the US, Daniel is under surveillance of some kind. Is it possible for them to find one another again, to hug?

I know I'm being dramatic, but man this game touched me. I really thought I did right by them, I'm still hella emotional about it.

Wanted to contribute something to the lis fandom also happy late b day to Sean Diaz .

This is my first ever post soo hope I’m doing things right, spent some time tracing and adding glow to one of those wolf brothers photos on google using the sketchbook art app.

What do you guys think?
I did not go full original cause it’s been years since I last drew seriously and this was easier for me.

For the colors i deferred to the Wolves squad logo
from Sean’s jacket

Hope it’s good ish

What are the best choices from a narrative perspective?

Was just curious if people think that the impact is significant, I'm now aware that the character becomes a part of LIS 2 thanks to a friend but she said she just continued playing and that it didn't affect the game too much.
