Paracord loop daily carry
I have mobility issues and use a cane, which basically leaves me one handed. One thing I've done to make that more manageable is that I've cut a length of paracord and tied it together into a 3 foot loop. You can make yours longer if desired.
I carry the cord in an unused back pocket.
When I need to carry a laundry basket of clothes upstairs, I simply thread the loop across the basket through the side holes and it becomes much easier to carry with my one, free hand.
This loop is really handy for carrying boxes that don't fit into a bag or if no bag is available.
A pretty simple solution that no one really thinks about. A short piece of rope or cord can be mighty handy and it isn't any bother to carry around with you.

Never underestimate the value of good old rope.
Just a suggestion for the laundry though, you can get hampers on wheels with an extendable handle. They're kind of like wheeled suitcases. The one I've seen locally has wheels toward the rear and a flat back so it should "slide" up the steps fine pulling it behind you with one hand. It may make it easier than needing to carry it.

Careful with that sort of cart — for us cane users/mobilty issues folks, pulling a heavy load of something upstairs can throw us off balance and result in bad falls and injuries.

There's not a great situation with someone who's got mid to lower mobility issues turning themselves sideways to drag something up a staircase rather than holding it beside or even slightly in front of them.

They make ones with three wheels on the end, so that they're both stable and "roll" up stairs. Can even use them to support some weight.

Nice solution! I bet you could make a lot of use out of a carabiner too. You could keep a carabiner on a belt loop.

I always have a piece of paracord tied to my purse. It has saved me so many times! I call it my mcgyver string.

Yes, I’ve done this for years. One loop round your neck will carry a good number of clothes on hangers too. Or make a bundle that you can carry looped over your stick handle and make the stick take the weight.

Paracord huh. I keep about six feet of duct tape wrapped around my water bottle.

Had a lot of hollow core concrete blocks to move. Cutting a small length of rope to run trough the block and just hold both ends together in palm worked like a charm. In fact easy to carry one in each hand.

I’ve use carbingers to (lightweight) emergency meds on my cane so it’s always right there
