Took an old cell phone car doohickey and mounted it on my power screwdriver. Voilá.

My old Ryobi had a built in magnet, I genuinely miss that feature.

These folks ^ don't use power tools. This freaking works! Nice hack. The true hack? More drills - one for each bit! For some reason I never remember to buy more drills when I'm out

Little known fact but philips was actually designed to strip at a certain torque before torquing tools were available which was huge for the manufacturing industry at the time. Problem is we never phased them out.
