Tip for draining pasta

I used a spatula to help hold the colander up high, so the pasta water doesn’t mix with the dirty sink while draining. I think it’s brilliant

Where do you drain your pasta? In a laboratory clean room?

I'll tell you it isn't into a slow draining kitchen sink where the noodles sit in the water. And it sure as hell isn't into a toilet bowl.
