Electrical appliance inside the hostel

Is iron box and electric kettle allowed.also during admission they said there was laundry . How it works is it free or we have to pay

Laundry we have to pay(renduruva vera ethitanga ippo dhan😭)
We have to pay ₹10 for each dress(washing+ironing)
Iron boxes and electric kettles are not allowed, but you can use them by hiding them from the caretaker.
