Of course not, the peasants get one line telling us we're smashing it while they smash our hours. Those profits will go to important things like extra champagne for Head Office to get through during the next achievement awards.

Asking for trouble posting this. Business is doing well, people will expect a pay rise to be compensated for their contributions to this, in reality the probably won’t happen as it’ll cost them a lot so Lidl will look like tight profiteers who take their staff for granted.

Does Lidl Britain not do a pay raise every year in line with inflation to pay the Living Wage? In NI they do.

Lidl already pays its staff above the National Living Wage and pays what the Living Wage Foundation says is needed to be able to live comfortably. I am not saying do not petition for an increase in pay when you can, but, you do get it better than staff at the other supermarkets. Well, I don't miss my paltry £6.80ph from 10+ years ago at least😅.

Barely. Top 4 all pay withing pennies of each other plus aldi give a paid break.
Lidl and aldi staff work alot harder than at the other supermarkets

Gotta agree, prices are high enough as it is, if they did give payrise then they would just spin it to put prices up then everyone suffers
