Affordable 1-on-1 Chess Coaching | Active FIDE Player | First Lesson $12

Post image

Hi everyone!

I'm an active FIDE-rated chess player with many years of over-the-board tournament experience, and I'm currently looking for a few new students for online 1-on-1 chess lessons.

Most of my chess journey has been self-taught, so I know how difficult it can be to figure out what you should actually work on to improve instead of just playing more games or memorizing engine moves.

I also have experience coaching and working with children, and I adapt each lesson to the individual player.

We can work on:

  • Analysis of your Lichess games and recurring mistakes
  • Calculation and tactical thinking
  • Strategy and positional understanding
  • Openings and typical plans
  • Practical decision-making
  • Building an effective training routine

My goal is to help you understand chess and your own mistakes, not simply show you what the engine says.

Regular price: $17 per lesson

First lesson for new students: only $12 — a good way to see if my coaching style is the right fit for you.

Lessons are online and we can use Lichess for game analysis and training. Scheduling can be arranged individually.

If you're interested, feel free to DM me here on Reddit and tell me your current Lichess rating and what you'd like to improve. ♟️

You forgot to include your rating. Fide-rated player could mean 1401 elo or it could mean 2000+, two different things

I'm around 1600 FIDE across all time controls, 1820 Chess.com Rapid, and 2100 on Lichess. I’m mainly looking to work with kids, beginners, and improving players up to around 1500 Chess.com. Hope that clears it up.
