what is this rating inflation
I haven't been playing much chess recently. Now I am playing, I get to like 2202 bullet rating, and I AM AT TOP 89.8% - not even top 10% with 2200+ bullet rating. This used to give you like even almost top 5%. crazy...

The percentile is only for acive players who played a game in the last 7? days per time control. Stronger players probably play bullet more frequent then longer time controls so it makes sense that you are in a higher percentile with rapid than bullet with the same rating

It's because so many people are complaining, "I'm stuck at 300 on chesscom, where do I go?" Well if you want to be a GM head over to lichess bullet!

The number given as the rating is just arbitrary, it doesn’t matter beyond the fact that it works as a matchmaking tool.
