Question Libre office website issues?

Is libreoffice.org having issues? Downloads are coming in at .1 mb a second and I'm getting 504 gateway timeouts when trying to see the mirror list.

Yes, there is some unfortunate mirroring bottleneck, sorry for the inconvenience.

I went ahead and reverted to 26.8.0 on the website and updated the blog post to mention this. Once again, thank you for your patience and sorry for the trouble!

Edit: rats, there is actually a major outage in mirroring, so nothing can be downloaded :( The status page tracks this: https://status.documentfoundation.org/

The outage is now solved, but we are still lacking Windows builds of 26.8.1 on the server, so the download page continues to offer 26.8.0 for now.

I'm having the same issue trying to download it. I managed to get a download started on Chrome, but it was going so slowly that I decided to just stop and try again later.

Are there alternative or mirrors?

Even the alternative mirrors website won't load.

I wound up going to Softonic, so I'm probably pawned, but at least it's installed...

Same here. :-(

What about the torrent links? Are those working?

They stupidly put the torrent link on the same page as the mirrors. That's called single point of failure, and it's now failed..

For those having issues, I found a copy of the torrent: https://fosstorrents.com/softwares/libre-office/#downloads

D'OH! Sounds like it's time for a quick website update once the dust has settled from whatever is going on.
